Did you know the legal limit for tyre wear is 1.6mm in the centre three quarters of the of the tyre? And that, although this is the legal limit, most manufacturers recommend that tyres are replaced when they get to or below 2mm,or ideally 3mm, as below this the grip and efficiency is severely reduced, especially in the wet and adverse weather conditions.
